Practical Grades at a Glance
The classic RIAM Music Exam - three graded performance pieces followed by Supporting Tests.
- Perform three grade-appropriate pieces along with supporting tests of scales & arpeggios, sight-reading, aural test, and theory questions.
- Follow RIAM Exams Syllabi designed to guide students through a structured progression of technical skills and musical awareness.
- In-person or video submissions, expert feedback and RIAM Spotlight Awards eligibility.

Practical Grade Exams include the following components:
- Performance: Candidates prepare 3 set pieces from RIAM syllabus
